This month we will look at Tuning and Intonation - useful for all levels!
Join Janna Hüneke once a month online to improve your skills in all areas of flute-playing - be it scales, dynamics, tuning, breathing, vibrato, pieces, articulation... These sessions are flutes-out, practical, play-alongs with Janna. Participants are generally on"mute" - so you can play to your hearts content without being heard! Only £10, or £5 for BFS members. Recordings will be sent out if you can't attend in person. There is no commitment, just attend as and when you can/want!

About Janna: Janna studied at the Guildhall School of Music while also taking a Music Degree at the City University, London. Janna has also studied with Patricia Morris, Geoffrey Gilbert & Peter Lloyd. Janna has given recitals and concerts in venues such as St. Martin’s in the Fields, St James’ Piccadilly, Westminster Cathedral, Snape Maltings, as well as numerous concert halls in Germany & Belgium where she has toured many times, often with her ensemble Harmoniemusik of which she is a founder member. Janna freelances in orchestras, ensembles and as a soloist. She was principal flute in the orchestra of Pimlico Opera & played for Grange Park Opera for many years. Janna has worked with many leading conductors including Roger Norrington, Peter Eötvös, Lionel Friend & Harry Christophers. Janna is also experienced in the recording studio, having worked on film sessions, backing tracks and other recordings. Janna is an experienced teacher. She currently teaches at St John's College School in Cambridge, & at her studio at home.. Janna runs several courses including Flute School London, Flutes in France, and the eflute academy, an online teaching forum for adults.
